John 15:4, 5 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

The key to the branch remaining alive and fruitful is staying attached so firmly to the tree that the life-giving sap from the roots flows into it. Only with that life-giving flow can the branch put out flowers and then fruit. How fruitful do you feel right now?? If you are feeling dry and not bearing fruit in your life, get closer to Jesus.

Father give me such a desire for a close relationship with you that I seek you every morning and make that connection with you that causes your life to flow into me and bear the fruit you designed me to bear.
