Matthew 28:19-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
It is mandatory to fulfill the Great Commission; the last and greatest command Jesus gave His disciples! Our mission is to go, create disciples, and advance His Kingdom in all areas of life. Compassion has several outreach-related activities - street work, homeless breakfast, new believer classes, Alpha course (in hand). And there are lots of different ways we can all be a part of reaching the lost, some on the "frontline" of evangelism and some supporting the work.
Lord Jesus, someone once shared the Gospel with me and I surrendered my life to you. Now show me how I can help pass the Gospel on to others. Give me the boldness and the words to tell others about you. Fill me with your Spirit so I know from you who to speak to and how to share effectively.
